Once again on this fine Monday, I am purloining a little Monday Q&A from Kathy B at Compassionknit in Wisconsin. Here goes:
* When are you most hungry: Morning, noon or night?
For me, it definitely depends on whether the day in question is during the work week or on the weekend. During the week, I typically don’t eat until around noon and it is a portion-controlled container of overnight oatmeal. Over the weekend, I am famished as soon as I wake up. Go figure!
* Are you still eating Halloween candy?
I actually had a couple of pieces of the chocolate we purchased for Halloween the weekend before. All our leftovers were brought into the office to put into my candy basket (with a couple of flavored tootsie rolls thrown in) and I haven’t had one piece.
* Do you keep a shawl or wrap in your car?
I only bring a shawl or wrap to wear with an outfit. But kind of like the idea of having one available in the car. I’m always cold…even living in Florida.
* Have you ever knit a snood?
No, knitting a snood is really not for me, unless I moved to a colder climate.
* What’s a neighbor’s most annoying habit?
We have really great neighbors so I wouldn’t say any have annoying habits. However, we have quite a number of people who use one of the roads near our house as a bypass to get to another main thoroughfare. On this bypass, there are three instances where there are pedestrian walkways, and cars are supposed to slow down. But they do NOT! I’d be a millionaire for every time people sped up rather than slowed down. Our neighborhood is to the point of getting a petition together so that we can get flashing lights at those crosswalks. Maybe that might help the Mario Andrettis who love to speed.
* What’s the population of your town?
Population is 33,365.
* What did you knit on this weekend?
Flame Hot Rod hat.
* Have you ever ridden a tandem bike?
Never ridden a tandem bike. Perhaps there might be one to rent if we ever get back to the Keys.
* Laundry: top load or front load?
Top load washing machine.
* Price of your last haircut?
Over $40 plus tip. I’ve been going to the same hairdresser for 13 years…we talk politics and binge-worthy TV choices.
