Not only are we big “Designated Survivor” fans in this household, but we’ve been watching “Survivor” since its inception in 2000. Hence a little delayed in blogging today as I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the TV screen and what was transpiring for the finale for the 35th season titled “Heroes, Healers and Hustlers.” I actually did not knit at all as I have during previous episodes of both shows with ‘survivor’ in their names.
Nevertheless, I do have progress to report for The Prophet’s second knitted hat on this WIP It Wednesday. Trying out some Caron Cupcake for this knit and so far, progress is to the point where I think I have just enough ribbing to please the man child…longer than what I would normally knit for a hat. It’s a 1 x 1 rib of ktbl (knit through the back loop), p. Think another five more rounds should just about do it, and then I think I will liberate the four-stitch pattern from Anne Hanson’s Movie Night socks until I have the length before decreasing for the top. But you never know, I might change my mind again. Time will tell.

Those greens in the hat are so lovely 🎄
Thanks…I’m quite pleased that the yarn is not as stripey as I thought and much more speckled.
