Time Once Again for Some Purloining

Once again on this fine Monday, I am purloining a little Monday Q&A from Kathy B at Compassionknit in Wisconsin. Here goes:

*Do you prefer an analog or digital clock?

I prefer a digital clock and the reason is a bit unusual. I used to wear very, very thick glasses (thicker than coke bottles) and then of course, graduated to contact lenses. Hard to believe but it is now 18 years ago since I had Lasik done. The morning after the procedure when I woke up and could look across the entire bedroom and see—really see—the clock display on the cable box was like a miracle. I felt like I had bionic eyes! Purloined Monday Q&A

Once again on this fine Monday, I am purloining a little Monday Q&A from Kathy B at Compassionknit in Wisconsin. Here goes:

*Do you ‘trust’ superwash wool?

So, confession here, although I have purchased quite a bit of superwash yarn, I have never just thrown any hand knit in the washer, and then low temp or cool in the dryer. I’ve only still washed by hand with SOAK. Though whenever I finish The Prophet’s Flame Hot Rod Hat,and  he washes it…that will definitely be a test. Continue reading “Purloined Monday Q&A”

Mondays are for Purloining

Once again on this fine Monday, I am purloining a little Monday Q&A from Kathy B at Compassionknit in Wisconsin. Here goes:

* When are you most hungry: Morning, noon or night?

For me, it definitely depends on whether the day in question is during the work week or on the weekend. During the week, I typically don’t eat until around noon and it is a portion-controlled container of overnight oatmeal. Over the weekend, I am famished as soon as I wake up. Go figure!
